Here's an original piece I did for the Aniway, a dutch anime and manga magazine. They have published an anime themed pocket diary. Check it out here: [link] there's loads of other cool art from talented dutch artists.

The theme was fantasy and I thought it would be cool to have this magic user that can summon elements, creatures and weapons from her tattoos. I didn't want to do a run-of-the-mill elvish being, so I gave her some other features and more arabian-ish clothing.

I'm a big fan of castlevania. There's really no other game that has so many different lores and mythological creatures woven into it.

but always involving the same families and as well as the ultimate evil. Dracula, which is the resounding theme, but yes lots of mythos involved in series.
